Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills, including the ability to track counts and inventory.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and quality procedures.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team with a positive, accountable approach.
  • Regular standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to push or pull equipment and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Required use of personal protective equipment including respirators, hearing protection, eye protection, and head protection.
  • Ability to work in dusty, cold, hot, humid, wet, loud, or outdoor environments depending on assignment.
  • The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • No experience required, with 3–6 months of production experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience and familiarity with ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform production tasks to support food processing operations, including drying, freezing, grinding, sifting, and packaging.
  • Set up, assemble, disassemble, clean, and sanitize equipment and work areas between production runs.
  • Load, unload, transfer, and transport materials and products throughout the production process.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including PPE requirements and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
  • Perform quality checks, including CCP verifications, and report any product or process issues.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently and meet production goals.
