Production Worker - Drywall Coaters & Hangers
About The Position
Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking to hire a Production Worker to join our Tape & Texture team in our Strattanville, Pa facility. Champion has served as a leader in the manufactured housing industry and one of the largest mobile and modular home builders in North America. Requirements
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically
- Must understand safety procedures
- Must have good teamwork skills
- Must live the Champion Operating Principles
- Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to pass a 7 Panel Drug Screen.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired.
Responsibilities
- Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned, including taping, coating and feathering, trimming, sanding, texturing
- Keeps area neat and clean.
- Read and use a tape measure
- Read blue prints and orders
- Communicate well with coworkers
- Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools
