Requirements

  • Must possess a High School Diploma/GED Certificate or equivalent training and experience.
  • Must be available to work the afternoon shift from 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday.
  • Must be able to wear a respirator.
  • Must be clean-shaven in the areas where the mask seals.
  • Manual dexterity and depth perception required to perform remote handling of various materials/parts.
  • Extended periods of standing at a work station on cement production floor.
  • Must wear appropriate Protective Personal Equipment such as: Hearing Protection, CSA approved steel toed footwear, safety glasses, etc.).
  • Must be able to give 3 references to help verify your identity.

Nice To Haves

  • This schedule may transition to a rotating shift (currently Monday–Friday morning and afternoon shifts) based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving work assignments for completing various tasks
  • Inspecting various parts for defects and accuracy
  • Sanding various parts to create smooth finishes
  • Moving parts from one department to another
  • Removing sand from various casting parts
  • Dipping parts in various chemicals to seal the alloy and prevent rusting
  • Packaging parts to be shipped to Global Locations
  • Other duties as assigned by management
