About The Position

Hydro Extrusions is hiring a Production Worker for its SPF operation. The role involves following work orders, verbal instructions, plans, and specifications to identify assignments and material or equipment needs. The worker safely operates assigned equipment or machinery, lifts and stacks product, maintains area efficiency and housekeeping standards, and accurately records the quantities or lengths of units handled or moved. The position offers a starting rate of $23.41 per hour, with a $1.00-per-hour shift differential. Available schedules are EOWEO, 7 a.m.–7 p.m. or 7 p.m.–7 a.m. The work may involve long hours as needed and seasonal temperatures.

Requirements

Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
Ability to use a calculator.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work long hours as needed in seasonal temperatures.
Ability to read and understand basic commands in English.
Ability to read, understand, and follow work and safety instructions.
Ability to work well with others as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and eagerness to grow.
Ability to follow detailed directions.

Nice To Haves

Prior manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
Prior experience operating mobile equipment, including a forklift or Combi, is helpful but not required.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
