This is a seasonal position for students looking to earn extra money before heading to college, trade school, or the military. The role involves building and assembling wood trusses or wall panels using hand and power tools. The company, Structural Component Systems, Inc. Requirements

Must be 18 years old.
Able to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting 25-50 lbs on a regular basis and up to 105 lbs on an occasional basis.
Reliable source of transportation.
Able to work effectively in a team-based environment.
Uphold a professional standard in work and demeanor.

Nice To Haves

Previous construction and/or component manufacturing experience.
Experience using hand or power tools and measuring tape.

Responsibilities

Produce quality products through the use of hand and power tools to assemble, package, and bundle.
Sawing, assembling, or packaging/bundling.
Work safely and efficiently following all necessary policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Carefully follow the Production Lead's directives in order to meet or exceed company goals.
Cross-training and assisting in other areas as needed.
Contribute to both the department's and company's success through professional manufacturing efforts.
