About The Position
This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Production Worker in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, with Nemalux Inc. Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, is the world leader in lighting.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing facility assembling fixtures or electrical/electronic parts
- Ability to physically move materials used in the production area; lift up to 50 lbs
- Familiar with hand and power tools (drivers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, etc.)
- Capable of standing for long periods of time during shift
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and travel anywhere in North America, without sponsorship from Signify.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, wire, inspect, test and package fixtures via an assembly line or workbench process efficiently without quality defects
- Follow blueprints, assembly drawings, and/or wiring diagrams
- Perform quality checks consistent with the inspection and control plans
- Use hand tools and power tools to secure parts
