About The Position

Performs a variety of production and packing activities to support manufacturing operations, including ensuring product quality, operating and supporting packaging equipment, handling materials, and maintaining clean and safe work areas.

Requirements

  • Strong personal and professional skills.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Regularly required to stand and use hands and fingers in repetitive motion.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, and reach overhead.
  • Occasionally required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and communicate verbally.
  • Must be able to lift at least 10 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, and noise ranging from office levels to loud factory or warehouse environments.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and first, second, and/or third shifts.
  • Ability to work in temperature conditions ranging from 35°F to 95°F

Responsibilities

  • Review product specifications and assist with equipment setup as needed.
  • Load materials and products into processing or packaging equipment.
  • Count, weigh, measure, mark, and label products, containers, and materials accurately.
  • Examine and inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality and packing specifications are met.
  • Obtain, move, sort, and organize products, materials, and orders using hand tools or equipment.
  • Replace damaged or defective products and separate finished goods as required.
  • Clean containers, materials, equipment, and work areas using appropriate cleaning solutions.
  • Perform general manual labor tasks, including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
  • Place products and materials on conveyors, packaging lines, or loading docks.
  • Record production or order information on required forms or systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
