About The Position
Wide Plank Hardwood is a leading manufacturer of custom hardwood flooring in Chilliwack. We are seeking reliable, hard working production workers with experience in a fast paced environment.
Requirements
- Valid Drivers license with a clean drivers abstract
- High school diploma (minimum).
- Proficient English with strong basic math, reading, and writing skills.
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, stand 8 hours, and perform manual labour.
- Excellent attention to detail for defect detection in lumber.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision under pressure.
- Thorough understanding of workplace safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operate production and packaging lines, including feeding/out feeding machines.
- Inspect products to meet strict quality control standards.
- Safely run woodworking machinery and perform general production duties.
