Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Manufacturing experience preferred; window manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Able to read a tape measure and understand fractions, decimals, measurements, and tolerances
  • Comfortable operating hand and power tools
  • Basic computer skills, including Excel, Outlook, tablets, and company systems
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions and standardized work
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, teamwork, dependability, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to identify safety hazards and follow PPE and safety requirements
  • Willing and able to cross-train and work in multiple departments
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply

Nice To Haves

  • Window manufacturing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Operate hand and power tools, saws, welders, and other manufacturing equipment
  • Assemble, fabricate, lift, pick, pack, and position window and door components
  • Perform extrusion, cutting, fitting, clamping, welding, and other production processes
  • Read work orders, tape measures, measurements, fractions, decimals, and standard work instructions
  • Perform quality inspections, CTQ/CFA audits, functional checks, and required product testing
  • Identify defects and quality issues, document findings, and generate quality reports
  • Use tablets, SafetyCulture, Excel, and other systems to record and analyze quality data
  • Support 5S, Kaizen, No Defect Forward (NDF), continuous improvement, and problem-solving activities
  • Maintain production flow, monitor materials, reduce scrap, and keep work areas clean
  • Assist with training coworkers and become cross-trained in multiple departments
  • Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, production standards, and supervisor instructions
