About The Position

Ocean Spray is seeking an Entry Level Production Worker at their Middleboro facility. This is a year-round, full-time position operating on a 12-hour rotating night shift (6pm-6am) with rotating weekends off. The role involves maintaining, cleaning, and sanitizing the facility and equipment, screening final product for foreign materials, operating various processing and packaging equipment, and performing quality tests. The facility is a large processing plant with multiple production lines, producing a significant portion of Ocean Spray's North American Sweetened Dried Cranberry volume.

Requirements

Must maintain excellent attendance reliability.
Must be able to work in a 24/7 environment, 12hr nights, every other weekend, and possibly some holidays.
Ability to work overtime.
Ability to climb ladders and traverse elevated platforms with frequent standing and walking.
Ability to detect differences in color shades and brightness.
Must be able to lift low to medium weight on a regular basis.
Must possess good interpersonal skills required to work in a team environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently, or as part of a team to resolve issues.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing experience or mechanical aptitude a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintaining, cleaning, and sanitation of the facility and equipment (hosing floors, sweeping spills, etc.)
Screening final product to ensure there is no foreign material
Creating appropriate documentation
Operation of extraction, infusion, filtering, and packaging equipment
Performing quality tests
Ensuring compliance with all Safety and Quality standards, processes, procedures.
