About The Position

Silvercrest is looking for experienced construction workers to join our team and work in one great location. Champion Silvercrest at 299 N. Smith Avenue, Corona, CA is looking for great people to join our team and perform quality work on the production line to build manufactured housing. We currently have immediate openings in the following departments: Roofing, Wall Builders, Exterior Siding and Trim, Plumbers, Interior Trim, Cabinet Builders and Setters. Requirements

High school diploma
Ability to read a tape measure
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift/move up to 50 lbs.
Must have a strong work ethic
Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically
Must understand safety procedures
Must have good teamwork skills
Must live the Champion Operating Principles
Must be able to pass a 7 Panel Drug Screen.

Nice To Haves

2 years of verifiable experience in your trade is preferred.
Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing is desired but not required.
Bilingual - Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

Perform all manual labor in the area to which assigned.
Keep area neat and clean.
Read and use a tape measure.
Read blueprints and orders.
Communicate well with coworkers.
Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.
Work on the production line to build manufactured housing.
Perform quality work at a fast moving and consistent manner.
Maintain the highest quality and safe work behaviors.
Focus on solid teamwork and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
Accurately read a tape measure, blueprints, and orders.
Safely and expertly use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools to perform quality work.
Keep work area clean and well-maintained.
Report equipment faults to the maintenance staff.
Perform a wide range of duties throughout the day.
Keep quality and safety in mind.
