About The Position

This role involves performing a variety of general production tasks to ensure quality standards and output. Responsibilities include retrieving and hanging garments, sorting items for accuracy, folding and bundling towels, rolling and distributing mats, unloading soiled products, and counting production orders. Additional duties may include sorting hangers and mending garments. Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Requirements

• Ability to continuously stand, bend, rotate trunk, reach out and/or up, lift and/or carry, climb and grasp.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

• Continuously rotate trunk to load, unload, sort, retrieve, and carry laundry.
• Occasionally squatting/crouching to pick up, sort, retrieve and place laundry in bags.
• Frequently reach out/up to load, unload and hang laundry up to arm's length and 70 inches from the floor.
• Continuously grasp/pinch/turn wrists to handle laundry, mats, hangers, bags with power and precision grasp.
• Frequently use finger manipulation to button shirts.
• Frequently push/pull up to 10 pounds of force to move clothes along the rail system, bring laundry carts to trucks.
• Occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds from the floor to 70 inches. Frequently lift under 10 pounds.
• Frequently use feet to walk throughout the facility to rotate and stand at work stations.

Responsibilities

• Retrieving and hanging loose garments onto hangers for the steam tunnel.
• Sorting garments to ensure accuracy on routes.
• Folding and bundling towels and bar mops.
• Rolling mats and distributing them into appropriate carts.
• Distributing carts/mats to appropriate routes to ensure accuracy.
• Unloading soiled products and counting for billing and production accuracy.
• Sorting hangers as needed.
• Mending garments as needed.
• Performing special projects as assigned.
• Maintaining regular and reliable attendance.
