About The Position

Temp Staff Management Group is seeking a Production Worker for our client in Cranbury, NJ. This role involves operating production equipment, assembling and packaging pet treats, maintaining product quality, and following all food safety and manufacturing procedures in a fast-paced production environment. The schedule includes a 2nd Shift (3:30 PM - 12:00 AM, Monday - Friday) and a 3rd Shift (10:30 PM - 7 AM, Sunday-Thursday). The pay rate is $16.13 per hour.

Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Reliable attendance and teamwork.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus but not always required.
Forklift experience is a plus for some departments.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

Operate production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
Assemble, inspect, and package pet treats according to company specifications.
Weigh and measure ingredients or finished products as required.
Perform visual quality inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
Label, box, and prepare finished goods for shipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures.
Report equipment issues or product defects to supervisors.
Assist with inventory, material handling, and other production tasks as needed.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
