About The Position
Vitro Architectural Glass, North America's largest manufacturer of architectural and automotive glass, is hiring for production workers at its Wichita Falls, Texas location. The Wichita Falls facility produces flat glass utilizing the float process for application in the automotive, trade, and mirror markets. Production positions require lifting & carrying, packing, loading, cleaning, operating equipment, and/or general utility duties in a glass manufacturing plant. Those hired will be required to work 12-hour shifts in a 24/7 operation.
Requirements
- Must be able to work rotating 12 hour shift schedule
- Must be able to safely operate a fork truck
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Must follow all PPE requirements
- Successfully pass a hair drug/toxins test
- Successfully pass a background check
