About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring multiple Production Workers for a company that specializes in the manufacturing of aerospace technologies in Carroll, IA. As a Production Worker, you will set up and operate machinery according to standard work, make machine adjustments, learn how to read and interpret blueprints and specifications, understand and follow quality testing techniques, learn how to inspect products using precision gauges, measuring instruments and equipment, and demonstrate proficiency in manufacturing documentation and labor transactions. You will also support and follow all rules/guidelines/standards set by EHS, Quality, and CI functions as set by your leader and position, and actively participate in the Continuous Improvement process as well as safety-related activities.

Requirements

Ability to learn machine operation and basic troubleshooting.
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work with production equipment.
Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and documentation.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic math and measurement skills.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing, production, assembly, or machine operation experience preferred.
