About The Position

At Barber Springs PA, you will work independently or as part of a team to produce high-quality workpieces. This role involves operating a variety of industrial machines including coilers, spring testers, shearers, and grinders to complete assigned tasks. You will perform multiple duties throughout the manufacturing process to ensure parts are produced safely, accurately, and efficiently. As a member of Barber Spring PA, you will be responsible for operating a variety of assigned machines to produce parts according to established specifications and engineering drawings. This role requires reviewing and interpreting blueprints or work instructions for parts to ensure all components are manufactured within quality standards. You will verify that machined workpieces meet required specifications and may be asked to support special projects.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred
2 years of related experience/training or equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret quality requirements for compliance, work instructions, production schedules, and measurements
Ability to identify basic springs
Accurate, legible, and timely completion of all production reports
Ability to wear required PPE such as steel-toed boots, hearing production, and safety glass or any other equipment as required.

Responsibilities

Operating a variety of assigned machines to produce parts according to established specifications and engineering drawings.
Reviewing and interpreting blueprints or work instructions for parts to ensure all components are manufactured within quality standards.
Verifying that machined workpieces meet required specifications.
Supporting special projects as needed.
Performing safe operations.
Processing all paperwork pertaining to production of the product.
Maintaining housekeeping standards in the area.
Maintaining production and quality standards.
Performing other related duties as assigned by management.
