About The Position
Steel of West Virginia, Inc., a subsidiary of Steel Dynamics, Inc. operates a steel mill located in Huntington, WV and adjacent to Marshall University. SWVA supplies specialty long rolled steel beams and channels as well as semi-finished weldments via our three rolling mills and robotic weld and material handling lines. We are growing and have openings for Production Workers. Production Workers at our finishing lines then custom finish structural beams, channels, and special shape steel sections to customer specifications.
Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or GED
- Be drug free
- A clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
- Ability to stand/work for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more repetitively on a regular basis
- Must be self-motivated team player, anxious and willing to learn new skills
- Perform other duties as required

- Custom finish structural beams, channels, and special shape steel sections to customer specifications.
