About The Position
The Production Worker is responsible for work in all departments of the manufacturing plant - Weld, Paint, Press, Packing, Shipping, Mill, Layout - doing various labor jobs. Some departments are more physically demanding, however, the general laborer should be capable of handling the work in all departments daily.
Requirements
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Highland, IL (Active Duty Military Service members are exempt).
- Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.
Nice To Haves
- Previous manufacturing experience.
- Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, squat, and climb heights with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to frequently crouch, kneel, balance, reach above the shoulder level, push and pull with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to do repetitive action of simple grasping, and firm grasping with or without reasonable accommodations, as required.
- Ability to work comfortably around moving machinery.
- Ability to work in an environment with minimal temperature fluctuations, primarily occurring during dock door openings.
