About The Position

Serves as a Production Line Worker in all stages of production/development by performing various duties related to product specification, quality control, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Requirements

• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Standing/walking on concrete floors for 10+ hours per day, 6 days per week.
• Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to wear OSHA approved hearing protection.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos preferred.
• Ability to write simple correspondence preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and management.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations preferred.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper department procedures outlined in training manuals.
• Understand product specification requirements to ensure quality.
• Follow procedures outlined by Department Supervisor/Department Leads.
• Follow attendance and punctuality rules.
• Follow food security guidelines.
• Follow Safety guidelines.
• Maintain accurate counts.
• Adhere to product specifications.
• Work at a pace consistent with the required line speed.
• Keeping accurate records as needed.
• Strict compliance with sanitation requirements.
• Minimize scrap at all times.
• Sweeping floor and aisles as instructed.
• Keep all scraps picked up from floor in your work area.
• Washing building and equipment as needed and scheduled.
• Keeping all trash and items picked up.
• Assisting in cleaning and maintaining office area.
