We are expanding our team in Butler, Indiana, and looking for dedicated, experienced Production Workers to join our steel processing operations on 2nd and 3rd shift. Requirements
- Computer literate.
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, stoop.
- Ability to move up to 20 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Forklift operation experience.
- Overhead crane operation experience.
- Machine operation experience.
- Material handling experience.
- Steel processing experience.
- Machine setup experience.
- Slitter machine operating experience.
- Prior experience in machine operation and/or steel manufacturing experience is preferred for Slitter Opportunities.
- Prior experience operating steel slitter machines is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain associated production documents.
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, material handlers, and steel handlers.
- Perform production and manufacturing work.
- Operate slitter machines (for Slitter Opportunities).
- Perform machine setup (preferred).
Benefits
- Competitive pay starting at $20.51 per hour, with opportunities to earn up more based on position.
- Shift premiums: $1.50 per hour for 2nd shift and $1.00 per hour for 3rd shift.
