The packaging operator works to prevent downtime for Baler Operators by ensuring the baler station has a full supply of bags, removing completed bales that do not meet QA/QC standards, and filling in for Baler Operators during breaks. This role also involves assisting Baler Operators with minor maintenance and performing other duties as assigned. The Bagging Operation is responsible for operating a variety of machinery, primarily bagging and baler machines, shrink wrapping machines, and forklifts. This includes putting covers on completed pallets and stretch-wrapping finished goods. Perform QA/QC by comparing completed pallets of product against weight, height, and visual guides, reporting issues to shift lead. Must operate machinery in a safe and productive manner using the established guidelines and procedures. Responsible for assisting other production areas, as needed. Move and wrap completed products. Will be lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for a minimum of 9 hours per day. Maintain a clean workstation. Other duties as assigned.
