Production Worker - Night Shift - Gilmore City (NEW)
About The Position
At Calcium Products, we help customers maximize soil fertility to achieve higher crop yields and superior turfgrass by offering the best calcium-based fertilizers on the market. We have been in business for more than 30 years and have offices/operations in Ames, Fort Dodge and Gilmore City, Iowa. Perform all basic production requirements as directed by plant manager or shift lead for carrying out a safe and efficient operation. The numerous duties involved include, at a minimum, the following: Operating machinery, inspection and maintenance on all machinery, preparing product for loading and delivering; cleaning and performing basic maintenance on all equipment and tools.
Requirements
- Day Shift Hours are from 5am - 5pm; Night Shift 5pm-5am
- Must be able to stand for a majority of the shift
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Capacity to operate light and heavy machinery
- Pre-employment physical
- Drug and alcohol testing
- Background check

Responsibilities
- Safely complete all production tasks
- Operate machinery including loaders and forklifts
- Inspect and maintain machinery such as screens, mills and load outs
- Maintain a clean and organized workplace
- Fulfilling all delivery orders in a safe and timely manner
- Offering customer service whenever required
