Reporting directly to the Shift Manager, as a Production Worker, you will be responsible for the safe operation of production equipment using standard operating procedures. Responsibilities include providing assistance in various areas of our manufacturing process as directed. Strive to meet plant goals and customer requirements. Safety is the top priority of every employee.

Requirements

  • You can learn quickly and adapt to change and work well in a team environment.
  • Have the ability to count accurately, able to learn quickly and adapt to change and work well in a team environment.
  • Can use various tools including a broom, utility knife, bundler machines, turntable, tape gun, scrap buggies, shredders and air hose.
  • Must be able to use a tape measure proficiently.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of or ability to learn safety rules and procedures, and operating policies and procedures.
  • Able to communicate effectively with others.
  • Must be able to maintain good attendance and be reliable and dependable.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, bundle and stack fiberboard partitions and check glue.
  • Take strips from stripper and fill the hoppers.
  • Bundles weigh approximately 8-40 lbs.
  • Must keep hoppers filled to the proper height.
  • Will catch partitions at the front or side in neat, predetermined quantities.
  • Will stack bundles correctly on pallets to meet customer orders and specifications.
  • Must watch for quality of partitions being manufactured and be able to measure to specifications.
  • Keep area clean and orderly to remain a safe area.
