About The Position

This is an entry level position on the manufacturing floor. Qualified candidates must be able to perform a variety of jobs, tasks, or duties as required; and must be able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as required. The tasks required, but not limited to, are general housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.), sample retrieval, power washing, lifting and hauling items up and down stairs, dump rework, and operate a motorized fork lift and a variety of other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Basic computer knowledge - data entry
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb stairs
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Ability to work at heights

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, and vacuuming.
• Perform painting and lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.).
• Retrieve samples.
• Perform power washing.
• Lift and haul items up and down stairs.
• Dump rework.
• Operate a motorized fork lift.
• Perform a variety of other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Be active and participate in efficiency and safety improvement teams.
• Learn and follow written rules and procedures.
• Produce accurate documentation.
• Maintain acceptable attendance.
• Learn various positions.
• Fill in when needed in temporary/permanent vacancies.
