Production Worker - Plumber
About The Position
Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking to hire a Production Worker to join their team within the Claysburg, PA, manufacturing facility. This role involves working on the production line to build manufactured housing as part of a team, performing quality work in a fast-moving and consistent manner. The position requires performing all manual labor in the assigned area, specifically within the Exteriors Department, which includes tasks related to roofing, sheeting, soffit, facia, siding, windows, and doors. The worker is responsible for keeping their work area neat and clean, reading and using a tape measure, reading blueprints and orders, communicating well with coworkers, and using various hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.
Requirements
- Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically
- Must understand safety procedures
- Must have good teamwork skills
- Must live the Champion Operating Principles
- Must be able to pass a 7 Panel Drug Screen.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing is desired.
