About The Position

As a Production Worker - Nameplate, reporting to the Quality Analyst at the Electrical Division Edmonton (EDE) location, you will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing process for various products and materials. This role involves utilizing specialized equipment to create and install nameplates, markers, and other components, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail.
Motivation to work independently with little to no supervision.
Comfortable working on a computer with programs such as Microsoft Suite.
Conscientious, thorough, accurate and reliable when performing and completing job tasks.
Ability to learn and adhere to all manufacturing policies and practices to ensure adherence to ISO requirements.
Basic command of the English language, both written and verbal.
Minimum education level of a High School Diploma is required.
0-1 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Basic ability performing mathematical calculations.
Must have legal authorization to work in Canada on a full-time basis for any employer.

Nice To Haves

Safety training certificates are an asset for the position.

Responsibilities

Utilize a Graphograph Laser to produce plastic and stainless steel nameplates (labels).
Utilize a Xenetech Engraver to product plastic name plastic.
Utilize the computer to communicate with different printers to produce wire shrinks and terminal markers.
Create heatshrinks, engrave nameplates and lamacoids.
Install nameplates and lamacoids on panels.
Create wire tag lists from wiring drawings and enter into spreadsheets.
Promotes a safety culture as well as attends all safety meetings.
Ensure quality by following standard work/process instructions and identifying any potential risks to product quality.
Ensure that work areas remain clean and well organized.
Other duties as required.
