About The Position

Performs all assigned manufacturing tasks to ensure coordination of all production operations and products. This includes packaging, sewing, assembly, counting, stapling, etc. Promotes a safe working environment and follows the Organization’s values. All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of manufacturing, where training has been provided.

Requirements

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
One-year experience in production preferred.
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to interact and communicate appropriately and effectively with all levels of employees, customers and outside guests.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one (1) or two (2) step instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables, as required.
The employee is required to be reasonably mobile.
The employee must have the use of hands and arms, and be able to work in a variety of situations, some of which may require kneeling, bending, crouching and standing for periods of time.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, depending on job assignment.

Responsibilities

Shifts jobs when needed, to help fulfill production needs.
Maintains work schedule at hire date.
Adheres to the organization’s values.
Performs all other duties as assigned when needed.
Understands the ISO quality statement and ISO objectives.
Can explain how they contribute positively to Goodwill of the Finger Lakes’ Quality system.
Follows’ all written procedures, processes and work instructions.
Maintains a clean, safe and organized work area.
Reports all potential product issues to supervisor or team lead.
Follows the Non-Conforming material procedures.
