Production Worker - General
About The Position
Under general supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team, and perform quality work in a fast-moving and consistent manner. This role involves performing all manual labor in the assigned area, maintaining a neat and clean workspace, reading and using a tape measure, reading blueprints and orders, communicating effectively with coworkers, and utilizing hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools. The position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to work quickly and methodically, an understanding of safety procedures, and good teamwork skills. Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing is desired.
Requirements
- Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically
- Must understand safety procedures
- Must have good teamwork skills
- Must live the Champion Operating Principles
- Must be able to pass a 7 Panel Drug Screen.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired.
