About The Position

Champion Home Builders is seeking to hire a Building and Framing Production Worker with General Construction and Framing experience to join their team in the Burleson Texas plant. This role involves working on the production line to build manufactured housing as part of a team, performing quality work in a fast-moving and consistent manner. The worker will perform all manual labor in their assigned area, read blueprints and orders, communicate well with coworkers, and use various tools.

Requirements

• Less than high school education; or up to six-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have general construction experience and knowledge.
• Must have a strong work ethic.
• Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically.
• Must understand safety procedures.
• Must have good teamwork skills.
• Must live the Champion Operating Principles.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired.

Responsibilities

• Work on the production line to build manufactured housing.
• Perform quality work at a fast moving and consistent manner.

• Keep area neat and clean.
• Read and use a tape measure.
• Read blueprints and orders.
