Requirements

• High School Diploma
• One to two years’ experience in a shipping/warehousing operation
• Must have forklift experience
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
• Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment desired
• Experience with inventory software, SAP preferred

Responsibilities

• Measuring bundle heights, checking board lengths and square checks.
• Checks for general defects in material.
• Communicates quality issues to pour table operators during the production run.
• Assisting with attaching labels and gluing slats to bundles.
• Adjusting saws.
• Assisting in loading of packaging machine plastic.
• Machine operation with some quality assurance knowledge.
• Monitoring of the product and the equipment i.e. robots, gang saw, crosscut saw, trim saw, conveyors and packaging equipment.
• Handling and maintaining flow of materials and products according to established guidelines.
• Logging the movement of incoming and outgoing materials and products.
• Operating low complexity motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
• Follows all Standard Operating Procedures Safely.
• Other duties as assigned.
