About The Position
Under general supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team, and perform quality work in a fast-moving and consistent manner. Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking to hire a Production Worker to join their Floor Framing team in the Claysburg, PA, location. Champion has served as a leader in the manufactured housing industry for decades and is one of the largest mobile and modular home builders in North America. Requirements
- Must have a strong work ethic.
- Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically.
- Must understand safety procedures.
- Must have good teamwork skills.
- Must live the Champion Operating Principles.
- Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to pass a 7 Panel Drug Screen.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing is desired.
Responsibilities
- Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned.
- Keeps the area neat and clean.
- Read and use a tape measure.
- Read blueprints and orders.
- Communicate well with coworkers.
- Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.
