About The Position

Fabrication Production worker will work directly on a production line to ensure a product is de-boned, trimmed or cut to customer specifications. They will be responsible for being an example to other team members using a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a “Creekstone Proud” culture through attitude and actions.

Requirements

  • Stand entire shift on concrete and/or elevated platform.
  • Lift, pull, push, or carry up to 60 lbs. for knife positions and 100 lbs. for non-knife positions on occasion.
  • Tolerate repetitive motion using hands/wrist/arm/torso and legs.
  • Use proper equipment to trim, debone, skin meat product.
  • Wear necessary personal protective equipment such as hardhat, steel-toed-boots, gloves, etc.
  • Work with sharp knives, some power equipment and/or saws.
  • Ability to work in cold/damp indoor working conditions.
  • Work at a steady pace.
  • Climb occasionally.
  • Stoop occasionally.
  • Crouch occasionally.
  • Stand for 8 or more hours per day.
  • Walk frequently.
  • Push frequently.
  • Pull frequently.
  • Grasp frequently.
  • Perform repetitive motions frequently.
  • Lift 0 – 100#.

Responsibilities

  • Cut, trim, fabricate and package beef products in a production line setting.
  • Bone out or trim large pieces of product using a knife and hook, or powered equipment such as saws or wizard knives.
  • Work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures of less than 45 degrees.
  • Work in a fast-paced and physically demanding position.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
