Production Worker - Exterior/ Siding /Roofing
About The Position
Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking to hire a Production Worker to join our team within the Exteriors department of the Claysburg, PA, manufacturing facility. This is a non-exempt position under general supervision, where the worker will be part of a team on the production line to build manufactured housing, performing quality work in a fast-moving and consistent manner. The role involves performing all manual labor in the assigned area, specifically focusing on roofing, sheeting, soffit, facia, siding, windows, and doors within the Exteriors Department. The position requires keeping the work area neat and clean, reading and using a tape measure, reading blueprints and orders, communicating well with coworkers, and using hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.
Requirements
- Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically
- Must understand safety procedures
- Must have good teamwork skills
- Must live the Champion Operating Principles
- Must be able to pass a 7 Panel Drug Screen.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing is desired.
