About The Position
Under general supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team, and perform quality work in a fast-moving and consistent manner.
Requirements
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically
- Must understand safety procedures
- Must have good teamwork skills
- Must live the Champion Operating Principles
- Less than high school education; or up to 6 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to pass a 7 Panel Drug Screen.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting
- Installation
- Preventative maintenance with electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
- Keeps area neat and clean.
- Read and use a tape measure
- Read blue-prints and orders
- Communicate well with coworkers
- Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools
- Adhere to State and Local building regulations completing work orders on time.
