About The Position

Under general supervision, this role involves working on the production line to build manufactured housing as part of a team. The position requires performing quality work in a fast-moving and consistent manner. The Production Worker will perform all manual labor in their assigned area, keep the area neat and clean, read and use a tape measure, read blueprints and orders, communicate well with coworkers, and use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.

Requirements

• Must have a strong work ethic
• Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically
• Must understand safety procedures
• Must have good teamwork skills
• Must live the Champion Operating Principles
• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing is desired.
