Requirements

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required
2+ years hands-on manufacturing experience
Familiarity with welding equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures and angle gauges
Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions and/or procedures
Ability to read and understand quality specifications
Effective oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of correct component part numbers
Work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

Producing quality piston rod and NPC sub-assemblies as required by production demand.
Fitting and welding steel.
Operating welding machines according to specifications applying knowledge of machining methods.
Working at the station assigned by supervisor and following all established work instructions and/or procedures.
Actively working towards meeting production schedules.
Keeping the work area clean, organized, and free of unused material.
Completing logs and charts as required by work instructions.
Performing all jobs in a safe manner while complying with all safety rules and regulations.
