About The Position
Performing a variety of welding functions. The individual should be familiar with and capable of using various types of welding equipment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 6 months to 1 year of welding experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings
Responsibilities
- Actively supports and complies with safety programs, quality assurance programs, labour laws, human rights legislation and occupational health and safety laws.
- Actively supports and complies with all policies and procedures.
- To work with fellow team members to produce a high-quality product safely and efficiently.
- Assist in the manufacturing of all products.
- Assist in the upkeep of Westeel equipment.
- Assist in the housekeeping and cleanliness of the facility.
- Read drawings and follow work orders.
- Complete tasks independently with minimal supervision.
- Follow AGI’s Code of Business Ethics and related compliance policies
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
