About The Position

Doonan Specialized Trailer is seeking skilled and dependable Production Welders to join our manufacturing team for night shift operations (3:30pm to 12:00am). This position is responsible for fabricating and welding trailer components according to engineering specifications while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Requirements

Welding and fabrication experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Commitment to workplace safety
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment Physical Capacity test.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
Welding: 1 year (Preferred)

Nice To Haves

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Select appropriate welding methods and equipment based on project requirements
Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment
Measure, align, and secure components using appropriate tools and fixtures
Perform MIG welding and other welding processes in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions
Inspect completed welds and finished products for quality and accuracy
Identify and correct welding defects when necessary
Use hand plasma cutting equipment as needed
Operate grinders and other fabrication tools to prepare materials
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
