About The Position

Perform welding and fabrication tasks that directly support product quality and production targets for the team. Your work impacts manufacturing outputs, safety outcomes, and process improvement initiatives while collaborating with production and quality stakeholders. Onsite at the Simi Valley facility, working the 2nd shift (M–F, 1:30pm–10:00pm).

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant welding experience
• Welding certificate
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and weld prints
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and shop math skills
• Problem-solving ability for atypical situations using existing precedents or procedures
• Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in welding preferred

• Portfolio or photos of welding projects

Responsibilities

• Perform weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations across ferrous and non-ferrous fabrications
• Manufacture and assemble fabricated mechanical components, structures, and vessels from drawings
• Maintain consistent standards of work to meet Quality Assurance specifications
• Assist in developing and implementing product/process improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with regulations, procedures, and safety practices to support a zero-accident goal
• Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance and support variable schedules or additional hours as needed
