About The Position
Sorinex Exercise Equipment is hiring a MIG Welder / Fabricator in Lexington, SC. This full-time, day shift position supports MIG welding, metal fabrication, production welding, and manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for candidates with experience as a MIG welder, fabricator, production welder, structural welder, or manufacturing welder.
Requirements
- Experience in MIG welding, fabrication, or manufacturing required
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
- MIG Welding: 2+ years
- Metal Fabrication: 2+ years
Nice To Haves
- Background as a welder, fabricator, production welder, or metal worker preferred
- Experience with pulse welding and fabrication processes preferred
- Ability to meet production goals in a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding and pulse welding on metal components and assemblies
- Complete metal fabrication, including fitting, layout, and assembly prior to welding
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, engineering drawings, and schematics
- Produce high-quality welds that meet specifications and quality standards
- Support production welding and manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment
- Inspect finished welds for quality control and accuracy
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain documentation
- Maintain welding equipment and keep work areas clean and organized
- Perform all other duties as assigned
