About The Position

Sargento is seeking a Production Utility worker for the 2nd shift. This role involves working safely as part of a team to produce quality Sargento products, understanding production orders, ensuring food safety and quality standards, and assisting with equipment setup and cleaning. The ideal candidate is a punctual, self-starting individual with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to learn new skills. Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED/HSED) required or minimally enrolled with anticipated completion in 12 months or less.
• Willingness to complete fork lift certification upon hire.
• Ability to learn and carry out lock out tag out procedures as required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform data entry for inventory systems and labeling software.

Nice To Haves

• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and placement of production equipment.
• Work alongside state-of-the-art automated equipment.
• Use cleaning chemicals to sanitize and clean equipment and production areas as necessary.
