About The Position

Production Upholstery is a job classification that performs bonding, sewing and hardware tasks to produce aircraft interior parts. Must repeatedly produce quality products in an efficient manner while maintaining a high regard for personal safety and health as well as that of co-workers.

Requirements

• Ability to cut, bond, sew, drill, rivet, and assemble interior panels.
• Ability to maintain a safe and effective work area/environment.
• Ability to use appropriate personal protective and safety equipment.
• Ability to complete proper paperwork documentation in logs.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the construction of interior panels, which can include cutting, bonding, sewing and performing hardware operations such as drilling, riveting and assembly.
• Maintain safe and effective work area/environment and use appropriate personal protective and safety equipment.
• Must complete proper paperwork documentation in logs.
• Must follow written and oral instructions with little supervision.
