About The Position

Business Risk Partners, a division of Amwins, is a Program Administrator and Specialty Lines Managing General Underwriting Agency committed to fostering a culture rooted in strong core values. Our team thrives on collaboration, innovation, and a dedication to excellence. We are seeking an experienced, committed Management Liability Production Underwriter. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving new business and/or renewals cultivating strong partnerships with wholesale agents and brokers. Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated underwriting experience
Analytical and detail-oriented mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet aggressive goals
Proficiency in MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
Comfortable with external marketing and some travel
Understanding of market trends and interest in maintaining current industry knowledge and skills
Ability to demonstrate respect and humility, accountability, and an entrepreneurial spirit all while being a strong team player
English proficiency

Nice To Haves

Insurance designations (RPLU, CPCU, etc.) are a plus

Responsibilities

Review, analyze, underwrite, and negotiate coverage for new and renewal business accounts nationally
Initiate, develop, and maintain strong broker and agent relationships through clear communication and responsiveness
Maintain, build, and grow a profitable book of business, with an emphasis on new business production, while meeting production and retention goals
Underwrite a suite of management liability products to include one or more of the following products: Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Crime
