About The Position

The Production Training Coordinator will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering training programs for production technicians across all phases of manufacturing. This role ensures employees are properly trained in safety, quality standards, equipment operation, and manufacturing processes to support efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Training & Development, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, or related field (preferred, not required).
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong communication skills — able to train and explain processes clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. experience in training, coordination, or production support within a manufacturing environment.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with good record-keeping skills.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior training or lead/supervisor experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, schedule, and deliver training sessions for production technicians across multiple departments.
  • Assist in developing and updating training materials, manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Partner with supervisors, engineers, and subject matter experts to identify training needs and ensure consistent skills development.
  • Monitor and track training completion, certifications, and compliance requirements.
  • Support onboarding and orientation programs for new production technicians.
  • Conduct hands-on training for manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality control practices.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics; recommend improvements where needed.
  • Maintain organized training records and ensure compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in cross-training initiatives to increase workforce flexibility and minimize production downtime.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the manufacturing teams.
