About The Position

Nemera is seeking a Production Trainer to serve as an "on the job" trainer for new employees on the production floor. The tutor will transfer knowledge and know-how to new employees, ensuring they are well-equipped to perform their tasks according to product specifications and operating procedures. This role is crucial in integrating new team members and maintaining Nemera's high standards in drug delivery device manufacturing.

Requirements

1+ years of experience as an effective operator in Injection molding and/or assembly.
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
Completed specific training provided by the Quality and EHS departments.
Extensive knowledge of safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Complete knowledge of quality procedures and documentation applicable to production work posts.
Able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
Stand and walk 90% of shifts and from machines, buildings and/or clean rooms.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, grab, and climb.

Responsibilities

Welcome new production employees and temporary workers, introducing them to the work position and environment.
Manage Training Checklists for each new employee and collaborate with the Production Supervisor to assign Training Buddies.
Demonstrate how to successfully complete tasks according to product specifications and operating procedures using the Training Checklist.
Show and explain how to start-up, operate, and shut down machines, and what to do in case of equipment malfunction or accidents.
Introduce documentation to be used at the workstation and ensure it is properly followed and completed.
Provide training on product quality, production of different samples, visual checks, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Prevent accidents by explaining workstation risks and standard responses to safety concerns or incidents.
Assess new employees at the end of their induction, provide feedback, and monitor them over time.
Share best practices and challenges identified during tutoring with other Tutors, Production Supervisor, Technical Production Trainer, and Human Resources.
Perform other duties as assigned.
