About The Position

Kamatics is seeking a Production Tool Operator who will be responsible for learning and operating a variety of production machine tools to support manufacturing processes. Working under close supervision, this position focuses on performing routine machining operations, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
0–1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to read and follow visual and written work instructions
Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to read work instructions and understand basic machining equipment and measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers
Dependability: Reliably completes assigned work with appropriate supervision; manages time effectively, follows instructions accurately, and maintains consistent attendance

Responsibilities

Under close supervision, complete introductory training and operate one or more types of production machine tools, such as grinders, honers, milling machines, drill presses, and lathes, performing routine and repetitive operations
Inspect parts to ensure conformance to specifications and quality standards
Meet productivity and quality expectations while following established work procedures
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with safety and environmental policies; promptly report any safety incidents or concerns
Identify and recommend improvements to work processes; actively participate in 5S initiatives within the work area
Provide a high level of service to internal and external customers while contributing to a positive team environment
Cross-train in other positions as needed and perform additional duties as assigned
