Requirements
- High School Diploma - or the equivalent
- Minimum 6 months experience working in a test lab (any kind)
- Experience assembling mechanical components
- Experience with MS Excel
- Some lifting up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct day to day pump setup and testing, working with production and independently.
- Prepare pumps model for testing.
- Assemble and/or assist building pipe test loops (some heavy lifting involved, with available lifting devices)
- Operate overhead bridge crane to maneuver pumps into place
- Configure test instrumentation for each test (training provided)
- Execute actual tests
- Prepare and distribute raw data for analysis by Engineering
- Create and maintain documentation for each test
- Equipment maintenance
- General shop duties (cleaning, filing, maintaining production records, etc)
