About The Position

ACT is seeking a Production Test Engineer responsible for planning, maintaining and developing Production Test set-ups, loads and equipment. This role involves developing automated or semi-automated test software and hardware to improve Production Test efficiency and accuracy. The engineer will conduct a variety of electronic and electromechanical tests on electronic systems, subassemblies and parts to ensure operation in accordance with specifications. Additionally, the position requires using advanced engineering skills to analyze test failures and provide corrective actions to test efficiency and accuracy. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a technical Associate's degree or a combination of commensurate education and experience
  • 5+ years' experience in electronics production testing is highly desired
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documentation
  • Ability to write reports and test procedures
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Company personnel
  • Experience or knowledge in Labview programming or similar programming experience is highly desired
  • Proficient in ERP software and Micorsoft Office suite
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables; collect and research data; use intuition and experience to compliment data; design procedures
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities in accordance with supervisors' schedules; ability to use time efficiently, plan for additional resources and develop realistic action plans
  • Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality; applies feedback to improve performance; monitors own work to ensure quality
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Must be a U.S. person within the meaning of U.S. regulations as defined by ITAR.
