About The Position

Riverside Operating is currently hiring for a full-time Production Technician for our Indiana field location. The Production Technician is responsible for monitoring and reporting on production and other pertinent information. This position provides maintenance on production equipment, oil wells, gas wells, gas gathering systems, and natural gas processing facilities. The position applies basic and some advanced skills to perform routine and complex operations using tools and equipment appropriate for the energy industry. The position requires the employee to apply understanding of the technical concepts, practices, and procedures learned in on-the-job training and safety meetings.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of oil and gas industry experience.
  • General knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to the oil and gas industry.
  • A current and valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work weekday shifts (generally 7:30 am to 4:00 pm).
  • Willingness to work scheduled rotation of weekend work and evening/overnight on-call.
  • Self-motivation to consistently maintain facilities.
  • Flexibility to perform discrete project goals safely and in a timely fashion.
  • Ability to wear proper PPE at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Perform field work independently.
  • Monitor and report on production and other pertinent information.
  • Provide maintenance on production equipment, oil wells, gas wells, gas gathering systems, and natural gas processing facilities.
  • Apply basic and some advanced skills to perform routine and complex operations using tools and equipment appropriate for the energy industry.
  • Apply understanding of the technical concepts, practices, and procedures learned in on-the-job training and safety meetings.
  • Drive a company vehicle to various field locations daily.
  • Perform outdoor work year-round, regardless of weather conditions.
  • Use light hand tools and equipment associated with the operation of upstream oil and gas facilities.
  • Maintain facilities consistently.
  • Perform discrete project goals safely and in a timely fashion.
  • Wear proper PPE at all times as this is a safety-sensitive position.
