About The Position

Join our Duraflake team as a Production Technician! This role is on a 12-hour shift schedule, either fixed day or night shifts, with night shifts required as needed. We are looking for individuals who are 18 years or older, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and willing to be certified to safely operate a forklift or other mobile equipment in a fast-paced environment. The role requires the ability to work in various environments including dusty (wood dust), hot, cold, or wet conditions. Post-offer, candidates must pass a drug screen, background check, and physical capability assessment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must be 18 years or older
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be willing and able to be certified to safely operate a forklift or other mobile equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work in a variety of environments including but not limited to: dusty (wood dust), hot, cold, or wet.
Manufacturing experience preferred
Post offer, you must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and physical capability assessment

Responsibilities

Respond to upset conditions and work closely with any and all team members to address problems.
Communicate with team members about production line activities, any upset conditions experienced, and follow up on the resolution.
Properly complete product changes and productively operate the equipment.
Create maintenance requests for equipment problems in a timely manner and follow-up as needed to ensure work is completed.
Actively participate in any problem-solving meetings and contribute to improving processes.
Complete paperwork and electronic entries as necessary.
